How did you get to where you are today in the developer world?

My journey in the world of software development began about 15 years ago with installation of Dark Basic game engine. Even though I haven't created any game, I've realised that that is what I want to do in my life. I've continued with learning programming languages myself and after finishing secondary school I've joined IT company as a junior CC++ developer. Recently, I've decided to quit my job primary because wanted to have flexible working hours, and that is what Topcoder gave me. Now, I can focus on my own projects, my hobbies and spend more time with family and friends.

What is your best strategy for tackling a project or challenge?

Ask, ask, ask, and ask trying to clarify all details.

How do you keep up with current trends and advances in this field?

It is not an issue for me. The thing that software developer never stops to learn new stuff is one one the things what I like about my job.

What are you most looking forward to for the TCO Finals?

Of course to meet everyone and have a fun by competing with other developers.

Offline, what is your favorite thing to do?

Traveling. Just pick up some location and go there on next day by car, bike or plane without planning anything in advance.
